This will include 40 quilt blocks already completed. They are each approximately 9”X12”. I didn’t measure each, only one of the blank blocks. Some have been done on a thicker cotton material, older, and some on a newer material, probably not all cotton. I’m not an expert in material. Each has been beautifully done and the project was never finished. There are 10 blocks left to do, already stamped. Included is the original pattern, Design 7024, all the pieces that came with it and the woman’s notes while she was doing the blocks. This also includes the placement chart. It was designed to show states in the order of their admission to the Union. Completed quilt measures 89” X 103” long.
I was very impressed when I got to go through these as they are done very nicely, in my opinion. I don’t do embroidery but I appreciate the talent, expertise, and patience that it requires.
My hope is that someone will love these as much as the woman who was creating them and put the pieces to good use, either as a quilt or pillows! They are well worth the effort!
